Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Merrill Hills made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Roosevelt Poulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Merrill Hills fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 9 played minutes Flatbush got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Bradshaw. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Merrill Hills managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beaverlodge AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Merrill Hills was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aubrey Bartley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donovan Slaughter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robt Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nestor Espinoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Espinoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donovan Slaughter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donovan Slaughter might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Espinoza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donovan Slaughter ran back to his position shaking his head. Flatbush's Robt Walker got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merrill Hills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aubrey Bartley having to interfere. Donovan Slaughter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Beaverlodge AFC's Roosevelt Poulin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aubrey Bartley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nestor Espinoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robt Walker in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Beaverlodge AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hilaire Goldsmith hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Robt Walker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Espinoza was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 46 played minutes Beaverlodge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wallace Aguirre.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donovan Slaughter to strike the kick off in the second half. Beaverlodge AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donovan Slaughter 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Donovan Slaughter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute.
