Romain McNeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roosevelt Poulin in the 19th minute of the match. Nestor Espinoza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kareem Vega. Emmett Lyons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Espinoza having to make a save. When Trent Hinkle came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Commanda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trent Hinkle couldn't finish the play. Emmett Lyons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nestor Espinoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merrill Hills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romain McNeal having to interfere. Romain McNeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merrill Hills in the 43rd minute of play. Romain McNeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merrill Hills, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Merrill Hills stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Roosevelt Poulin from a close distance when the talented Romain McNeal managed to make a qualified save. Commanda AFC's players were relieved. A collision led to Beaverlodge AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Winford Gallegos hit a great ball. Commanda AFC's Trent Hinkle got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beaverlodge AFC's Nestor Espinoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Hinkle in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Beaverlodge AFC's Roosevelt Poulin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romain McNeal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Merrill Hills sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 minutes, Dorian Grady mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beaverlodge AFC and the Commanda AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Beaverlodge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Grady to maneuver through the defense. Trent Hinkle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Beaverlodge AFC booed when Commanda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyman AyotHayot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Merrill Hills dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romain McNeal, 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
