Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Whalen kicked off to start the match. Francisco Whalen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nigel Dube came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Whalen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. When Clément Rowland fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Causapscal's protests and gave Clément Rowland a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Causapscal! In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Foxford FC. Graig Stover stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Terry Carmona. 1-1. In the 13th play minute Cory Russ came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nigel Dube. 2-1. When Cory Russ came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Causapscal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cory Russ couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Causapscal's goal looked a bit too open when Lowell Dunbar came free, but Terry Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lowell Dunbar in the 27th minute of play forced Causapscal's goalkeeper Terry Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Lowell Dunbar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foxford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Cory Russ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leland Rector received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Terry Carmona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Causapscal's zone, Lowell Dunbar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terry Carmona came out of the goal and Lowell Dunbar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tad Bélair kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Causapscal's Terry Carmona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lowell Dunbar in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Lowell Dunbar made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Whalen in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nigel Dube prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes, Hervé Michaud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Foxford FC and the Causapscal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Foxford FC's Hervé Michaud got a free kick in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Causapscal's Francisco Whalen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nigel Dube narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Causapscal's Cory Russ got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cory Russ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nigel Dube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Whalen in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nigel Dube saved Foxford FC from getting behind. Terry Carmona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lowell Dunbar in the 73rd minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Causapscal's goalkeeper Terry Carmona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robbie Holcomb hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Leland Rector who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Terry Carmona when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Foxford FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Valentin Franks hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Cory Russ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Causapscal's supporters rose to their feet, but Cory Russ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nigel Dube breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
