Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Harry Moran started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drumbo's goalkeeper Von Wilkinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Patricia's Otto Lake nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Von Wilkinson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Drumbo's zone, Barnabé Barber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Von Wilkinson came out of the goal and Barnabé Barber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otto Lake blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Von Wilkinson having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Barnabé Barber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Von Wilkinson. The goal made the score 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Moran in the 21st minute of play forced Patricia's goalkeeper Peter Ashley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Patricia getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Barrett Whitley hit a great ball. Peter Ashley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Graig Powell's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Barnabé Barber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Patricia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! If Barnabé Barber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute, Harry Moran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Ashley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Moran, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Comer during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Patricia got a freekick which was hit by Roger Comer. Barnabé Barber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Von Wilkinson having to interfere. With a little luck, Drumbo's Von Wilkinson got control of the ball when Barnabé Barber tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otto Lake stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Barnabé Barber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Von Wilkinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Von Wilkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Lake, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Harry Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Drumbo fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Drumbo's Graig Powell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Graig Powell got free with Peter Ashley in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Otto Lake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Barnabé Barber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Von Wilkinson. Drumbo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnabé Barber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 71 minutes into the match, Drumbo's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Comer came free, but Von Wilkinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Von Wilkinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabé Barber in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Graig Powell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Ashley. Patricia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Graig Powell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. If Barrett Whitley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes in the game, Otto Lake dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnabé Barber in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Von Wilkinson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Otto Lake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Von Wilkinson having to interfere.
