Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Lucerne's Alberto Laderoute played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jere Figueroa in the 4th minute of play. After 7 played minutes, Lucerne's Rashad Tillman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejandro Friend came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lucerne reached it. Jere Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alberto Laderoute tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caliber FC's Robby Dickson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lucerne. In the 14th minute, Palmer Gamelin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lucerne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 19 minutes, Jean Demers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caliber FC and the Lucerne players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Caliber FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Demers to maneuver through the defense. If Jere Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Palmer Gamelin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Monroe Feliciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Friend read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Palmer Gamelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Friend having to interfere. Brice Blount fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Laderoute having to interfere. Brice Blount recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Brice Blount got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Laderoute made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brice Blount in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jere Figueroa to make the kick off. Alejandro Friend showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmer Gamelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jere Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alberto Laderoute tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Caliber FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 84th play minute Dick Jacob came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alejandro Friend. 1-2. Dick Jacob struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Alejandro Friend didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lucerne. Cesaire Gary shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lucerne had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
