After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Magog! When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Lucerne's Cesaire Gary got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bradly Oneal. Rufus Starr hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dick Jacob struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Bradly Oneal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lucerne. Dick Jacob's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Bradly Oneal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roman Paiement hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Virgil Parsons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes, Hervé Palmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magog and the Lucerne players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Magog fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Lucerne. Cesaire Gary stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bradly Oneal. 2-0. Lucerne's Alberto Laderoute played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Forest Felix in the 34th minute of play. Arnulfo Ruel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Laderoute having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Jacob got free with Bradly Oneal in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 43 played minutes Lucerne got a freekick which was hit by Weston Conroy. After 44 played minutes, Magog's Hervé Palmer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto Laderoute came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magog reached it. After having played for 46 minutes, Arnulfo Ruel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Ruel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lucerne's Jules Schneider got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Palmer Gamelin made the kick off in the second half. Magog's Bradly Oneal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palmer Gamelin in the 60th minute of play. Palmer Gamelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bradly Oneal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucerne's Alberto Laderoute proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Lucerne from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Lucerne booed when Magog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Mercure didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Laderoute made an important save on a dangerous shot by Forest Felix in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Dick Jacob's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradly Oneal was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88thth minute of the game Arnulfo Ruel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lucerne's Alberto Laderoute was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucerne were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Magog for a fine match.
