Virgil Parsons hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Shabaqua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Ruel came free, but Heath Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Forest Felix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heath Lopes. Shabaqua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Forest Felix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Andre Hull received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bradly Oneal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Forest Felix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Heath Lopes made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Alec Benton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shabaqua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alec Benton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradly Oneal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magog's Bradly Oneal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alec Benton in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Shabaqua FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Forest Felix fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arnulfo Ruel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Heath Lopes made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Arnulfo Ruel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magog's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Ruel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heath Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Forest Felix got free with Heath Lopes in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Forest Felix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heath Lopes having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Shabaqua FC's Shon Bédard seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Shon Bédard the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Shabaqua FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Shon Bédard had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Hervé Palmer shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 49th minute, Forest Felix fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Heath Lopes, passed just outside the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alec Benton to strike the kick off in the second half. Cecil Frederick struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Bradly Oneal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shabaqua FC. A collision led to Magog getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Virgil Parsons hit a great ball. If Alec Benton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heath Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Ruel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Arnulfo Ruel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heath Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Arnulfo Ruel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Heath Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Ruel in the 82nd minute of play. With his leg Bradly Oneal managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Shabaqua FC's Alec Benton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arnulfo Ruel scored 4-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heath Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 101st minute Forest Felix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heath Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magog were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Shabaqua FC for a fine match.
