In the 4th minute, Nolan Davignon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barrows's Lonnie Womack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Barrows from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nolan Davignon in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lonnie Womack saved Barrows from getting behind. Hipolito Parmentier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lonnie Womack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bobbie Pugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute, Olivier Eddy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nolan Davignon in the 18th minute of play forced Barrows's goalkeeper Lonnie Womack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Olivier Eddy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bobbie Pugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Kiser having to interfere. Barrows's Lonnie Womack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Barrows from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Whitkow AFC's zone, Bobbie Pugh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Kiser came out of the goal and Bobbie Pugh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olivier Eddy in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Kiser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 played minutes, Barrows's Malcolm Paimboeuf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michael Kiser came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrows reached it. 40 minutes into the match, Whitkow AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Eddy came free, but Michael Kiser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nolan Davignon in the 45th minute of play forced Barrows's goalkeeper Lonnie Womack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nolan Davignon to make the kick off. Hipolito Parmentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonnie Womack having to interfere. Michael Kiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Eddy in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bobbie Pugh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrows's supporters rose to their feet, but Bobbie Pugh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Kiser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bobbie Pugh's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michael Kiser firmly grabbed it by the left post. Michael Kiser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobbie Pugh in the 62nd minute of play. Nolan Davignon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonnie Womack having to interfere. Bobbie Pughs short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Michael Kiser to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lonnie Womack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Parmentier in the 73rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Albert Camacho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Barrows's Lonnie Womack. Lonnie Womack was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Houston Mainville fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Whitkow AFC's protests and gave Houston Mainville a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barrows booed when Whitkow AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Houston Mainville didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bobbie Pugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Whitkow AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
