Palmer Gamelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucerne's Alberto Laderoute played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Lake in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Lucerne's goalkeeper Alberto Laderoute had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnabé Barber. Alberto Laderoute showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Comer in the 22nd minute of the match. If Otto Lake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barnabé Barbers short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Alberto Laderoute to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Alberto Laderoute managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Patricia's Barnabé Barber fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Lucerne's Alberto Laderoute got control of the ball when Barnabé Barber tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lucerne's zone, Barnabé Barber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Laderoute came out of the goal and Barnabé Barber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otto Lake stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Palmer Gamelin in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Peter Ashley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Barnabé Barber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Lucerne got a freekick which was hit by Rufus Starr. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Lake in the 63rd minute of play forced Lucerne's goalkeeper Alberto Laderoute to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rashad Tillman's late challenge caught a Patricia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rashad Tillman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Rashad Tillman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Lucerne got a freekick which was hit by Monroe Feliciano. Alberto Laderoute took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnabé Barber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barnabé Barber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Laderoute having to interfere. Lucerne's Alberto Laderoute played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabé Barber in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lucerne's Monroe Feliciano got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of Lucerne booed when Patricia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinn Levine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Ashley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Jacob in the 92nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnabé Barber in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Laderoute prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
