Shabaqua FC's Heath Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabé Barber in the 21st minute of play. Patricia's Peter Ashley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Patricia from getting a goal against them. Andre Hull received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Peter Ashley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heath Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnabé Barber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Patricia's Barnabé Barber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heath Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Barnabé Barber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Shabaqua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Lake came free, but Heath Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecil Frederick hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Shabaqua FC's Heath Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinn Levine in the 47th minute of play. The Shabaqua FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Patricia were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andre Hull to make the kick off. Heath Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Lake, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Benito Blanchard fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shabaqua FC's protests and gave Benito Blanchard a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shabaqua FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! 60 minutes into the match, Andre Hull had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Ashley. Patricia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andre Hull was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Heath Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnabé Barber in the 64th minute. Vincent Courcelle kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Otto Lake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Lake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barnabé Barber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heath Lopes having to interfere. If Andre Hull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alec Benton might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Ashley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alec Benton ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the game, Buck Forbes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patricia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shabaqua FC the free kick. Heath Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Lake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Barnabé Barber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patricia's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnabé Barber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heath Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96th play minutes Otto Lake shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Heath Lopes and just under the crossbar into goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Patricia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
