Rashad Magee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garfield Adair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Léonard Fink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rashad Magee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes in the game, Léonard Fink dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 11th minute, Erik Farrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19thth minute of the game Ismael Aponte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Qausuittuq FC's Don Provencher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Theron Crane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Don Provencher. Qausuittuq FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute, Erik Farrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rashad Magee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Mercado went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Shane Hoff came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Luseland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shane Hoff couldn't finish the play. Don Provencher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Aponte in the 39th minute of the match. If Mauro Mercado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes of play, Luseland's Ismael Aponte made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Don Provencher was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Ismael Aponte came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Luseland fans jumped to their feet. Don Provencher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shane Hoff went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Shane Hoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Don Provencher having to interfere. Qausuittuq FC's Don Provencher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Aponte in the 80th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Luseland's Shane Hoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Don Provencher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Qausuittuq FC's zone, Ismael Aponte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Don Provencher came out of the goal and Ismael Aponte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Luseland fans cheered their team off the field, for while Qausuittuq FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
