Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Blair Dagenais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clément Rucker having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Lesueur FC's Clément Rucker threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Blair Dagenais, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 5th match minute, Winterton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Couturier to maneuver through the defense. Blair Dagenais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clément Rucker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Lesueur FC booed when Winterton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Couturier didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hollis Massey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Lesueur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hollis Massey came free, but Dick Hathaway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hollis Massey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dick Hathaway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes in the game, Blair Dagenais fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Clément Rucker having to interfere. Blair Dagenais was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Lesueur FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 34 minutes into the match, Kennith Riley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clément Rucker. Winterton AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kennith Riley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 40th minute Luigi Crain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Hathaway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hollis Massey in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dick Hathaway saved Lesueur FC from getting behind. In the 46th match minute, Lesueur FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reggie Brower to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blair Dagenais to make the kick off. With a little luck, Lesueur FC's Dick Hathaway got control of the ball when Hollis Massey tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennith Riley in the 56th minute of play forced Winterton AFC's goalkeeper Clément Rucker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kennith Riley struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Clément Rucker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lesueur FC. In the 65th minute, Edgar Harrell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lesueur FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Dick Hathaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hollis Massey in the 70th minute of play. Kennith Riley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hollis Massey came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Winterton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hollis Massey couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Kennith Riley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lesueur FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennith Riley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blair Dagenais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Clément Rucker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blair Dagenais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clément Rucker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennith Riley in the 96th minute of play. Lesueur FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
