In the 2nd minute, Clay Nixon made a precise shot to the right of Olivier Pierre. Tekie-Taka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 5 played minutes Tekie-Taka got a freekick which was hit by Trenton Holder. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silas Pitts in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olivier Pierre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience held their breath when Rusty Friedman in the 12th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Olivier Pierre's left hand side. In the 14th minute, Rupert Conroy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Géraud Henley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanner Poirier, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Clay Nixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Pierre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas Pitts struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Olivier Pierre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otis. The audience was convinced that Tanner Poirier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Géraud Henley was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Otis's Géraud Henley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Otis from getting a goal against them. Tom Gray hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Tanner Poirier, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Géraud Henley was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Willis McKay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tekie-Taka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willis McKay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tanner Poirier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willis McKay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Géraud Henley having to interfere. After the first half Otis were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clay Nixon to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Otis got a freekick which was hit by Rusty Friedman. Tanner Poirier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Géraud Henley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Otis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Gray to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Willis McKay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tekie-Taka's supporters rose to their feet, but Willis McKay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Géraud Henley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Géraud Henley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanner Poirier in the 62nd minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, Otis's Silas Pitts made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olivier Pierre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Géraud Henley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanner Poirier in the 72nd minute of play. Tanner Poirier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Géraud Henley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tanner Poirier in the 81st managed to get into a good position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanner Poirier in the 87th minute of play forced Otis's goalkeeper Géraud Henley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Willis McKay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tekie-Taka's supporters rose to their feet, but Willis McKay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
