The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilbert Madsen got free with Sammy Koehler in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Warren's Augustine Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Tory Théberge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tory Théberge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bacotville AFC's Léopold Slaughter got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Bacotville AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Warren's performance. The match ended with a win for Warren.
