In the 3rd minute Clay Nixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zane Hopper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silas Pitts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute, Silas Pitts made a precise shot to the right of Zane Hopper. Placentia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Raphael Benton might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Géraud Henley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raphael Benton ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the game, Silas Pitts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zane Hopper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilbert Ferris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Géraud Henley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Clay Nixon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zane Hopper, 3-0. In the 42nd minute, Raphael Benton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raphael Benton to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raphael Benton in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Géraud Henley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute Silas Pitts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zane Hopper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Nick Baxter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Silas Pitts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zane Hopper. Placentia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silas Pitts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Pitts in the 69th minute of play forced Placentia's goalkeeper Zane Hopper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Gilbert Ferris dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Géraud Henley, 4-1. 74 minutes into the game, Otis's Clay Nixon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zane Hopper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 80th minute, Clay Nixon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zane Hopper was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Otis's Géraud Henley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Otis from getting a goal against them. Zane Hopper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Pitts in the 86th minute of play. Nick Baxter's late challenge caught a Otis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nick Baxter helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Otis booed when Placentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Baxter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silas Pitts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zane Hopper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
