Sammy Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanner Poirier, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Tanner Poirier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sammy Koehler came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Tekie-Taka's Tanner Poirier. But to his dismay, Tanner Poirier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Dennis Durham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacotville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Durham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivier Pierre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12thth minute of the game Tanner Poirier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacotville AFC's Sammy Koehler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tanner Poirier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tekie-Taka's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanner Poirier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sammy Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Tekie-Taka getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rickie Harrison hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Tanner Poirier made a precise shot to the right of Sammy Koehler. Bacotville AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dennis Durham in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olivier Pierre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Olivier Pierre made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Dennis Durham sent off a good shot on target. When Tekie-Taka's Tanner Poirier in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willis McKay in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sammy Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tanner Poirier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sammy Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tanner Poirier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Durham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korey Pépin might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olivier Pierre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Tekie-Taka's zone, Korey Pépin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olivier Pierre came out of the goal and Korey Pépin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Tanner Poirier in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 70 minutes into the game, Willis McKay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Sammy Koehler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tanner Poirier in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sammy Koehler saved Bacotville AFC from getting behind. With a little luck, Bacotville AFC's Sammy Koehler got control of the ball when Willis McKay tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Sylvester Burris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dennis Durham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tekie-Taka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
