Adolphe Ayers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donn York in the 3rd minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolphe Ayers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Lockwood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colton Knox to maneuver through the defense. Alec Guillory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robby Cagle came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Lockwood AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robby Cagle couldn't finish the play. When Angus AFC's Donn York in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lockwood AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Donn York sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Angus AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Garland Rivard hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donn York to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alec Guillory ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jamaal Fitzpatrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 59 minutes, Garland Rivard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angus AFC and the Lockwood AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Angus AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garland Rivard to maneuver through the defense. Adolphe Ayers made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Aristide Velasco sent off a good shot on target. Lockwood AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
