Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cesaire Renaud started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Raphael Benton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Placentia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Benton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neil Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Raul Yoder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Benton, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gilbert Ferris took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Yoder. Raul Yoder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adam Rangel charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Rangel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adam Rangel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Beaverdam FC booed when Placentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Placentia's goalkeeper Zane Hopper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keven Stratton. Keven Stratton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Zane Hopper when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cesaire Renaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zane Hopper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zane Hopper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Keven Stratton in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Placentia's Gilbert Ferris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Yoder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raul Yoder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Ferris went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raphael Benton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cesaire Renaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Zane Hopper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neil Bergman during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Placentia's Neil Bergman got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to Beaverdam FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Linwood Wiggins hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Placentia's goal looked a bit too open when Keven Stratton came free, but Zane Hopper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placentia's Zane Hopper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesaire Renaud in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Placentia got a freekick which was hit by Nick Baxter. If Raphael Benton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Yoder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Benton in the 77th minute of play. Cesaire Renaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Zane Hopper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesaire Renaud in the 86th minute of play forced Placentia's goalkeeper Zane Hopper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nick Baxter's late challenge caught a Beaverdam FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nick Baxter helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Placentia's Nick Baxter got a free kick in the 87th minute. Gilbert Ferris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Cesaire Renaud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beaverdam FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesaire Renaud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Beaverdam FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Placentia's performance. The match ended with a win for Placentia.
