Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Tekie-Taka's Willis McKay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Orville Titus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willis McKay, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, ARMY CANADA's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio MacDonald came free, but Orville Titus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orville Titus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willis McKay in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Tekie-Taka got a corner. ARMY CANADA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rickie Harrison ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ian Burkett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orville Titus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Willis McKay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orville Titus having to interfere. The supporters of Tekie-Taka booed when ARMY CANADA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stacey Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio MacDonald in the 18th minute of play forced ARMY CANADA's goalkeeper Orville Titus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Willis McKay elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Orville Titus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio MacDonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loic Greene couldn't finish the play. With his leg Olivier Pierre managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when ARMY CANADA's Loic Greene fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 33 minutes into the match, Willis McKay notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ARMY CANADA's Orville Titus. Orville Titus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Tekie-Taka were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gail Paradis made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, ARMY CANADA's goalkeeper Orville Titus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio MacDonald. ARMY CANADA's Orville Titus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willis McKay in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ARMY CANADA's zone, Gregorio MacDonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orville Titus came out of the goal and Gregorio MacDonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Willis McKay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orville Titus having to make a save. When Lawrence Joiner fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARMY CANADA's protests and gave Lawrence Joiner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, one of ARMY CANADA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ARMY CANADA. The goalkeeper, Orville Titus, was totally fooled by Tekie-Taka's Rickie Harrison, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 69th minute, Gregorio MacDonald fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Orville Titus, passed just outside the right post. 71 minutes into the match, Willis McKay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orville Titus, 0-4. After 75 played minutes ARMY CANADA got a freekick which was hit by Blair Keith. 79 minutes into the match, ARMY CANADA's goalkeeper Orville Titus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio MacDonald. In the 80th minute, Tekie-Taka's Gregorio MacDonald ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orville Titus. Orville Titus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Orville Titus didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Gregorio MacDonald came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Orville Titus could save by the left post. 95 minutes into the match, Willis McKay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orville Titus, 0-7.
