The coaching staff of Waldeck protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Patrice Burgos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 2 minutes into the game, one of Waldeck:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rickey Ivy had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Boris Link's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zachariah Woodson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickey Ivy having to interfere. If Willis Cronin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sheldon Berger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Beatty AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hunter Mobley took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Bowling. Herbert Bowling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Willis Cronin came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Waldeck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willis Cronin couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Willis Cronin had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Boris Link fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beatty AFC's protests and gave Boris Link a yellow card for diving instead. Boris Link hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The supporters of Waldeck booed when Beatty AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Laliberté didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 45th minute when Zachariah Woodson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The wind increased when Zachariah Woodson made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Beatty AFC were awarded a corner. Boris Link went to the cornerflag to take it. Waldeck's Rickey Ivy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheldon Berger in the 59th minute of play. Rickey Ivy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariah Woodson in the 63rd minute of the match. Sheldon Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rickey Ivy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Zachariah Woodson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickey Ivy. Waldeck's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zachariah Woodson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
