Rickey Ivy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauren Lamoureux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10thth minute of the game Chris Covillon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waldeck's Rickey Ivy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willis Cronin got free with Coy Temple in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarvis Barrios in the 16th minute of play forced Osnaburgh AFC's goalkeeper Coy Temple to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willis Cronin struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Coy Temple didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waldeck. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauren Lamoureux in the 26th minute of play forced Waldeck's goalkeeper Rickey Ivy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Covillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickey Ivy having to interfere. Osnaburgh AFC's Lauren Lamoureux got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Lauren Lamoureux made the kick off in the second half. Glen Fontenot charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Glen Fontenot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Osnaburgh AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Waldeck a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Garry Elliot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Osnaburgh AFC's Coy Temple. 1-0. Lauren Lamoureux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauren Lamoureux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickey Ivy having to interfere. Terrance Duarte hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of Osnaburgh AFC booed when Waldeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrance Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Colombain Duff fired a really elegant long shot, but Rickey Ivy threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After having played for 76 minutes, Jarvis Barrios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waldeck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarvis Barrios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willis Cronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarvis Barrios in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coy Temple prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldeck were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
