After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, César Laberge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sutton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but César Laberge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Errol Maurer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Errol Maurer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aimé Weber in the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Laberge got free with Errol Maurer in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giuseppe Cardwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Conn having to interfere. Oswaldo Conn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Barnhart in the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percy Shields during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eloida's Chadwick Sarrazin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sutton FC. In the 24th minute, Mickey Lehman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswaldo Conn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Cardwell in the 27th minute of the match. Errol Maurer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimé Weber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Laberge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Errol Maurer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Abraham Barnhart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Conn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Sutton FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eloida were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giuseppe Cardwell to strike the kick off in the second half. César Laberge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errol Maurer having to interfere. Oswaldo Conn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Barnhart went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Giuseppe Cardwell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Conn made a huge save. Errol Maurer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Laberge went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Abraham Barnhart's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oswaldo Conn firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Eloida booed when Sutton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Shields didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brock Bloom kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Aimé Weber took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Errol Maurer. Errol Maurer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 76 minutes into the match, Sutton FC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Conn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Barnhart. Mickey Lehman's late challenge caught a Sutton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mickey Lehman helped the player get up and apologised. Aimé Weber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errol Maurer having to interfere. César Laberge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Errol Maurer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 3-3 became the score in the 86th minute when Aimé Weber elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Eloida's Mickey Lehman got a free kick in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Aimé Weber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Errol Maurer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sutton FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Eloida for much of the match.
