Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lauren Lamoureux started the match with the kick off. Glen Fontenot's late challenge caught a Emerson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glen Fontenot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Glen Fontenot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isreal Shipp, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 16th minute, Lauren Lamoureux reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilbert Gilliam. The goal made the score 1-0. Gilbert Gilliam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauren Lamoureux, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Emerson's goalkeeper Gilbert Gilliam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Covillon. Chris Covillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Gilliam having to interfere. Milford Gardner took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Coy Temple. Coy Temple dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Lauren Lamoureux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milford Gardner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Hipolito McCracken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coy Temple saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Milford Gardner made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauren Lamoureux in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Gilliam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Osnaburgh AFC's zone, Hipolito McCracken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coy Temple came out of the goal and Hipolito McCracken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milford Gardner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coy Temple having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Emerson's Hipolito McCracken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Coy Temple made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Coy Temple showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milford Gardner, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Hipolito McCracken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson's Gilbert Gilliam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauren Lamoureux in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito McCracken got free with Coy Temple in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Hipolito McCracken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lauren Lamoureux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milford Gardner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito McCracken's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Coy Temple skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
