After a rather tough play, Sutton FC's Percy Shields got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Colombain Duff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oswaldo Conn skillfully saved the ball. Lauren Lamoureux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauren Lamoureux in the 23rd minute of play forced Sutton FC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Osnaburgh AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sutton FC:s goal. Oswaldo Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauren Lamoureux, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Chris Covillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Oswaldo Conn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauren Lamoureux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Conn having to interfere. César Laberge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Coy Temple made a huge save. When Lauren Lamoureux came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Osnaburgh AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauren Lamoureux couldn't finish the play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Aimé Weber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Osnaburgh AFC's Coy Temple was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coy Temple made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aimé Weber in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sutton FC had won after a very even match.
