The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giuseppe Cardwell was the one to do the kick off. Eloida's Errol Maurer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Eloida from getting a goal against them. Giuseppe Cardwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Waterdown getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Elvis Kincaid hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Eloida:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Waterdown:s goal. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Waterdown's Kurt Proulx got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Errol Maurer. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Amos Haas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Waterdown booed when Eloida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickey Lehman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eloida's goalkeeper Errol Maurer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reuben Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Cardwell in the 94th minute of play. Waterdown's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
