Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Waterdown's Amos Haas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Waterdown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cory Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 6 minutes, Raul Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Codroy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cory Gonzalez fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waterdown's protests and gave Cory Gonzalez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Brain Pierce sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Waterdown's Reuben Lin didn't even have to move. Alvaro Presley hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Alvaro Presley fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Marquez got free with Reuben Lin in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reuben Lin was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Alvaro Presley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvaro Presley really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Alvaro Presley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reuben Lin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Waterdown's zone, Alvaro Presley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reuben Lin came out of the goal and Alvaro Presley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Waterdown's Elvis Kincaid got a free kick in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Alvaro Presley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reuben Lin. Alvaro Presley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Brain Pierce fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Codroy FC's protests and gave Brain Pierce a yellow card for diving instead. Brain Pierce hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jérôme Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Jérôme Alfaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buford Gamache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 52nd play minute Jérôme Alfaro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Buford Gamache. 2-1. Reuben Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Marquez in the 58th minute of the match. Alvaro Presley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Reuben Lin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Elvis Kincaid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Raul Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reuben Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Waterdown's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Presley came free, but Reuben Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reuben Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Cory Gonzalez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Waterdown:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Codroy FC:s goal. Raul Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Reuben Lin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codroy FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
