Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Sutton FC's César Laberge started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sheldon Berger in the 11th minute of play forced Sutton FC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beatty AFC's Stanley Laliberté suffered a sore foot after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dion Longpré during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Sheldon Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beatty AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sheldon Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo Conn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lionel Lépicier came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sutton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lionel Lépicier couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sutton FC booed when Beatty AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervais Faubert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lionel Lépicier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Bowling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Herbert Bowling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Laberge, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Lionel Lépiciers short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Herbert Bowling to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When César Laberge came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Sutton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Laberge couldn't finish the play. Lionel Lépicier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Herbert Bowling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Sutton FC's Alden Alley got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Herbert Bowling. Sheldon Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sheldon Berger made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling César Laberge in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Bowling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herbert Bowling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Laberge, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 62 played minutes Beatty AFC got a freekick which was hit by Booker Larocque. Lionel Lépicier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Bowling having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Gervais Faubert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sutton FC booed when Beatty AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariah Woodson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervais Faubert's late challenge caught a Sutton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervais Faubert helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sutton FC booed when Beatty AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervais Faubert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lionel Lépicier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sheldon Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Conn having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Sutton FC got a freekick which was hit by Juste Thacker. Beatty AFC's Sheldon Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Beatty AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sutton FC.
