Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zachariah Woodson got the match started through his kick off. Sidney Carlisle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Herbert Bowling when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zachariah Woodson struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Derek Guerrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beatty AFC. Derek Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariah Woodson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Elroy Dempsey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Bowling was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Elroy Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derek Guerrero came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Beatty AFC's Sheldon Berger. But to his dismay, Sheldon Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Elroy Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spillimacheen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elroy Dempsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Bowling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariah Woodson in the 30th minute of play forced Spillimacheen FC's goalkeeper Derek Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sheldon Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Bowling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidney Carlisle in the 33rd minute. Herbert Bowling made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Sidney Carlisle sent off a good shot on target. Beatty AFC's Herbert Bowling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elroy Dempsey in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Carlisle got free with Herbert Bowling in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elroy Dempsey made a kick off. Herbert Bowling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Carlisle, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Sheldon Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zachariah Woodson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derek Guerrero having to interfere. Zachariah Woodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Spillimacheen FC's Bo Newell got a free kick in the 71st minute. Derek Guerrero was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Zachariah Woodson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zachariah Woodson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 79th minute, Sidney Carlisle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Spillimacheen FC's Sidney Carlisle got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidney Carlisle in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Bowling saved Beatty AFC from getting behind. Elroy Dempsey struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Herbert Bowling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spillimacheen FC. After a defensive mix-up in Spillimacheen FC's zone, Gervais Faubert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Derek Guerrero came out of the goal and Gervais Faubert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elroy Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Herbert Bowling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
