Rudolf Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernand McRae having to interfere. Andy Wilkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carol Oliver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andy Wilkins ran back to his position shaking his head. Andy Wilkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humbert McCullough struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Carol Oliver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dasserat. 32 minutes into the game, Bobby Bergeron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Janeville AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dasserat the free kick. The supporters of Dasserat booed when Janeville AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Bergeron didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Humbert McCullough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dasserat's zone, Joseph Hillman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernand McRae came out of the goal and Joseph Hillman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Joseph Hillman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Janeville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Hillman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andy Wilkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Oliver having to interfere. If Andy Wilkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Janeville AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dasserat.
