Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tad Pelland took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Li showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tad Pelland in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Kelligrews AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Wilfredo McGee hit a great ball. Damion Tilley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rusty England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Coulter FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Drew Gagnon was slow to take the kick. During this time Kelligrews AFC's players had a chance to rest. When Jérôme McDonald came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Kelligrews AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jérôme McDonald couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coulter FC's goalkeeper Rusty England, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Coulter FC's Glen Lewis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Rusty England showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damion Tilley in the 30th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Tad Pelland notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kelligrews AFC's Julio Li. Julio Li was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Kelligrews AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tad Pelland came free, but Julio Li reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damion Tilley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

54 minutes into the match, Kelligrews AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tad Pelland came free, but Julio Li reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kelligrews AFC's Julio Li played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tad Pelland in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Roderick Richmond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Li saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roderick Richmond's late challenge caught a Kelligrews AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roderick Richmond helped the player get up and apologised. Roderick Richmond kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Angel Gagnon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coulter FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kelligrews AFC the free kick. After 60 played minutes Coulter FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Gagnon. In the 62nd minute, Jérôme McDonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kelligrews AFC's zone, Roderick Richmond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Li came out of the goal and Roderick Richmond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Damion Tilley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kelligrews AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damion Tilley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 played minutes Coulter FC got a freekick which was hit by Glen Lewis. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Coulter FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Drew Gagnon was slow to take the kick. During this time Kelligrews AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Drew Gagnon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rusty England quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Damion Tilley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rusty England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damion Tilley struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rusty England didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kelligrews AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damion Tilley in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rusty England prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Li made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tad Pelland in the 85th minute of play. Tad Pelland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Li having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kelligrews AFC's zone, Roderick Richmond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Li came out of the goal and Roderick Richmond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Coulter FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
