Carol Oliver came out of the goal and Grady Méthot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Léonce Colvin charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léonce Colvin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Léonce Colvin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Janeville AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! If Grady Méthot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Hillman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Darden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The Janeville AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Davangus FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joseph Hillman to make the kick off. Rudolf Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Achille Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Oliver having to interfere. Davangus FC's Cesar Darden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Guzman in the 59th minute of play. If Rudolf Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Darden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Hillman in the 70th minute of the match. Carol Oliver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achille Benson in the 72nd minute. Janeville AFC's Rudolf Guzman got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joseph Hillman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rudolf Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davangus FC's Cesar Darden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Guzman in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Davangus FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
