Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Raymond Lagacé made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Coulter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Lagacé came free, but Rusty England reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raymond Lagacé in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rusty England saved Coulter FC from getting behind. Raymond Lagacé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raymond Lagacé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rusty England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rusty England showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Lagacé, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to Coulter FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tad Pelland hit a great ball. 0-2 became the score in the 42nd minute when Jourdain Cullen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Raymond Lagacé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rusty England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Lucien Champagne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coulter FC and the Wainwright AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucien Champagne kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tad Pelland made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Coulter FC's goalkeeper Rusty England, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Coulter FC's Roderick Richmond in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wainwright AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute, Wainwright AFC's Raymond Lagacé dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Lucien Champagne hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Raymond Lagacé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jourdain Cullen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wainwright AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jourdain Cullen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rusty England breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th match minute, Wainwright AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terrence Shaw to maneuver through the defense. Wainwright AFC's Aldo Pendleton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roderick Richmond in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Glen Lewis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Pendleton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roderick Richmond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Aldo Pendleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Wainwright AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ned McCarthy hit a great ball. Roderick Richmond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Pendleton having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Tad Pelland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Pendleton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Raymond Lagacé was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Wainwright AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Wainwright AFC played a much better game than Coulter FC and deserved their victory. The Coulter FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
