After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rodolph Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kenora's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolph Schneider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernand McRae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Kenora's Rhett Mullins got control of the ball when Andy Wilkins tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Andy Wilkins came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Dasserat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Wilkins couldn't finish the play. Fernand McRae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolph Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernand McRae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Fernand McRae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Santana's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Andy Wilkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rhett Mullins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tracey Duffy got free with Rhett Mullins in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andy Wilkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhett Mullins having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolph Schneider stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, one of Dasserat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dasserat. 56 minutes into the game, Rodolph Schneider lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Fernand McRae. Fernand McRae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Santana in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Kenora's Rodolph Schneider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernand McRae narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 63 minutes of play, Kenora's Ariel Santana made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernand McRae was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ariel Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Fernand McRae successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 78 minutes, Humbert McCullough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dasserat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humbert McCullough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Kenora's goal looked a bit too open when Humbert McCullough came free, but Rhett Mullins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Wilkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhett Mullins having to interfere. 3-2 became the score in the 91st minute when Humbert McCullough elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kenora players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dasserat.
