After having played for 13 minutes, Joseph Hillman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Janeville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Hillman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rhett Mullins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Janeville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolph Schneider came free, but Carol Oliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Hillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rhett Mullins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Kenora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Bérubé to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Kenora's Rodolph Schneider ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carol Oliver. Carol Oliver yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Kenora getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cole Geiger hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kenora's zone, Joseph Hillman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhett Mullins came out of the goal and Joseph Hillman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ariel Santana in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carol Oliver, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Kenora getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Oswaldo Bérubé hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Janeville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolph Schneider came free, but Carol Oliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Janeville AFC's Carol Oliver got control of the ball when Ariel Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joseph Hillman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ariel Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carol Oliver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolph Schneider in the 59th minute of the match. Joseph Hillman in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rhett Mullins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thierry Monty hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Joseph Hillman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 82 minutes into the match, Kenora's goalkeeper Rhett Mullins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Guzman. After a rather tough play, Janeville AFC's Ervin Rosen got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Rudolf Guzman came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Janeville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Guzman couldn't finish the play. Thurman Herndon's late challenge caught a Janeville AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thurman Herndon helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the game, one of Kenora:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
