Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Grady Méthot started the match with the kick off. Cesar Darden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tad Pelland, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 4th match minute, Davangus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walker Ogden to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Coulter FC's zone, Grady Méthot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rusty England came out of the goal and Grady Méthot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Coulter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Benson came free, but Rusty England reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Darden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tad Pelland in the 14th minute of play. Rusty England showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grady Méthot in the 15th minute of the match. If Grady Méthot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Coulter FC booed when Davangus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eli Otto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Darden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tad Pelland's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Stephen Bennett made a great header on Coulter FC's corner, it was just that Davangus FC's Cesar Darden managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 28 minutes, Roderick Richmond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coulter FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roderick Richmond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes Davangus FC got a freekick which was hit by Walker Ogden. After having played for 30 minutes, Tad Pelland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coulter FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tad Pelland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coulter FC's Rusty England played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Benson in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Roderick Richmond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coulter FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roderick Richmond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesar Darden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tad Pelland in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes Davangus FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stephen Bennett who took care of the corner kick. Lucien Champagne made a great header on Coulter FC's corner, it was just that Davangus FC's Cesar Darden managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Davangus FC's goalkeeper Cesar Darden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tad Pelland made a kick off. Tad Pelland succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Achille Benson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rusty England read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Cesar Darden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tad Pelland in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Coulter FC booed when Davangus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walker Ogden didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Coulter FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Angel Gagnon hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, Achille Benson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Davangus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coulter FC the free kick. The supporters of Coulter FC booed when Davangus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Benson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Roderick Richmond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cesar Darden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tad Pelland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Davangus FC got a freekick which was hit by Grady Méthot. In the 83rd minute Tad Pelland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Darden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roderick Richmond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cesar Darden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Coulter FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Davangus FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
