When Coulter FC's Tad Pelland, in the 7th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Coulter FC. Roderick Richmond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhett Mullins having to interfere. Rhett Mullins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tad Pelland in the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thierry Monty got free with Rusty England in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Laurence Poole hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Coulter FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thurman Herndon was slow to take the kick. During this time Kenora's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Kenora's corner Thurman Herndon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rusty England quite easily take care of the ball. Ariel Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Rodolph Schneider came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kenora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolph Schneider couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, Cornelius Petersen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kenora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coulter FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kenora's Cornelius Petersen got a free kick in the 31st minute. A collision led to Kenora getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ariel Santana hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kenora's zone, Tad Pelland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhett Mullins came out of the goal and Tad Pelland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rhett Mullins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tad Pelland went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thierry Monty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rusty England having to interfere. After the first half Coulter FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolph Schneider was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kenora's Cornelius Petersen got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Lucien Champagne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes in the game, Tad Pelland fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rhett Mullins having to interfere. Rusty England made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolph Schneider in the 65th minute of play. Rusty England stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolph Schneider's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Rodolph Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kenora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolph Schneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glen Lewis's late challenge caught a Kenora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glen Lewis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Coulter FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Glen Lewis hit a great ball. Rusty England took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolph Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rodolph Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roderick Richmond got free with Rhett Mullins in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glen Lewis got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 97th match minute, Coulter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Lewis to maneuver through the defense. Coulter FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
