Derick Keller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rhett Mullins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Queenstown FC's Derick Keller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rhett Mullins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kenora's goalkeeper Rhett Mullins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rhett Mullins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Morin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Rodolph Schneider fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 41 minutes of play, Kenora's Ariel Santana made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Lam was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Ashley Morin made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Ashley Morin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhett Mullins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Thierry Monty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kenora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queenstown FC the free kick. Thierry Monty hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. One of Queenstown FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kenora:s goal. Queenstown FC:s Marcus Lam showed great skill when he stopped Thurman Herndon:s penalty. Thurman Herndon took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Lam. Marcus Lam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Rhett Mullins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derick Keller in the 83rd minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Oswaldo Bérubé mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kenora and the Queenstown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Kenora got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Bérubé. Thierry Monty kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Queenstown FC's Sang Garrett shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rhett Mullins but with some difficulty. In the 89th minute, Nathan Henson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenora's Lamar Sapp pulled a muscle in his back after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Kenora's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
