After a rather tough play, Davangus FC's Florian Aldrich got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute, Jourdain Cullen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grady Méthot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Pendleton having to interfere. If Grady Méthot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Ned McCarthy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Pendleton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grady Méthot's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A collision led to Wainwright AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ned McCarthy hit a great ball. Aldo Pendleton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jourdain Cullen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Darden having to interfere. The supporters of Wainwright AFC booed when Davangus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Aldrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jourdain Cullen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Achille Benson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Davangus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Grady Méthot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Aldo Pendleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Wainwright AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ned McCarthy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grady Méthot in the 42nd minute of play forced Wainwright AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Pendleton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Darden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Lagacé in the 47th minute of play.

Aldo Pendleton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achille Benson in the 53rd minute. Paschal Jernigan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Achille Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aldo Pendleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Pendleton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grady Méthot in the 62nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wainwright AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Wainwright AFC:s Aldo Pendleton showed great skill when he stopped Eli Otto:s penalty. If Achille Benson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Wainwright AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jerold Casgrain. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grady Méthot in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Pendleton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Grady Méthot got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ned McCarthy charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ned McCarthy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Wainwright AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ned McCarthy. Aldo Pendleton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grady Méthot in the 92nd minute of the match. Achille Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Pendleton having to interfere.
