Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kelley Trent got the match started through his kick off. Barnabé Burns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cruz Boucher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carmacks FC's goalkeeper Harland Reeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Loup Finley fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carmacks FC's protests and gave Loup Finley a yellow card for diving instead. 16 minutes into the match, Cruz Boucher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harland Reeder. Carmacks FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cruz Boucher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Richmond booed when Carmacks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loup Finley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harland Reeder came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Richmond's Cruz Boucher. But to his dismay, Cruz Boucher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 38th minute, Len York got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richmond's Paschal Parmentier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Richmond from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Richmond's Barnabé Burns sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harland Reeder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Cruz Boucher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harland Reeder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnabé Burns made a kick off. When Clint Lacombe fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carmacks FC's protests and gave Clint Lacombe a yellow card for diving instead. Clint Lacombe kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Carmacks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazare Auger to maneuver through the defense. Harland Reeder was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Barnabé Burns capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barnabé Burns really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnabé Burns in the 71st minute of play forced Carmacks FC's goalkeeper Harland Reeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Cruz Boucher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Kelley Trent notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Richmond's Paschal Parmentier. Paschal Parmentier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The long shot by Rodrigo Milton in the 78th minute really tested Harland Reeder's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carmacks FC's zone, Cruz Boucher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harland Reeder came out of the goal and Cruz Boucher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Barnabé Burns in the 82nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Harland Reeder kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 87 minutes into the match, Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Lazare Auger came free, but Paschal Parmentier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Odell Aubé fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Richmond's protests and gave Odell Aubé a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carmacks FC booed when Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odell Aubé didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnabé Burns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Harland Reeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Richmond's Cruz Boucher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harland Reeder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. The Richmond players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
