The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dewayne Cassidy during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernand Booker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Colton Melendez. Dapp FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Dapp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederick Barrera came free, but Colton Melendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederick Barrera was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Dapp FC's Logan Ziegler seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Logan Ziegler the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dapp FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Logan Ziegler had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Wallaceburg AFC. Fernand Booker stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Colton Melendez. 0-1. Séverin Ibarra struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Colton Melendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallaceburg AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamie Thurston in the 61st minute of play forced Wallaceburg AFC's goalkeeper Willis Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colton Melendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederick Barrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dewayne Cassidy got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 96th match minute, Dapp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Wallaceburg AFC were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Dapp FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernand Booker took the corner.
