Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Burt Dye started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Dover's goalkeeper Robin Abrams had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Whaley. After 4 played minutes Antigonish AFC got a freekick which was hit by Burt Dye. The supporters of Dover booed when Antigonish AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asa Meunier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Whaley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Robin Abrams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Abrams made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Whaley in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Boston during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Antigonish AFC booed when Dover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Boston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antigonish AFC's Burt Dye got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Dover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo McNeal to maneuver through the defense. Dover's Donte Gadbois got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burt Dye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Abrams having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Dover's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Burt Dye fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thibault Manley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robin Abrams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burt Dye in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dover's Thibault Manley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicodème Webster. That made the score 0-1 after 54 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibault Manley in the 60th minute of play forced Antigonish AFC's goalkeeper Nicodème Webster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dover's zone, Sergio Whaley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Abrams came out of the goal and Sergio Whaley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Dover's Lothaire Staples got a free kick in the 68th minute. Burt Dye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Robin Abrams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donte Gadbois blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicodème Webster having to make a save. After some careless play in the Dover defense, Burt Dye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Abrams. The Dover fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Abrams should have stopped the shot. Thibault Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sergio Whaley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Abrams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burt Dye, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Burt Dye got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-2. 94 minutes into the match.
