Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Millard King started the match with the kick off. Jacques Mosher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nicodème Webster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pavilion AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Stephan Hodges hit a great ball. A collision led to Antigonish AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Quincy Roark hit a great ball. Willie Verreau kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Stevie Ouellet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicodème Webster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeramy Witt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burt Dye in the 21st minute of play. Stephan Hodges hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sergio Whaley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeramy Witt came out and tried to block the shot, but Sergio Whaley slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Burt Dye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sergio Whaley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antigonish AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Whaley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeramy Witt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the game, Burt Dye recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeramy Witt. Burt Dye showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After having played for 47 minutes, Sergio Whaley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antigonish AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Whaley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burt Dye was the one to do the kick off. After 52nd play minutes Burt Dye shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Jeramy Witt and just under the crossbar into goal. Burt Dye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeramy Witt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burt Dye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Burt Dye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pavilion AFC's Stevie Ouellet got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pavilion AFC's goalkeeper Jeramy Witt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacques Mosher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodème Webster having to interfere. When Stevie Ouellet fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pavilion AFC's protests and gave Stevie Ouellet a yellow card for diving instead. Stevie Ouellet kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Burt Dye recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeffery Desaulniers kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Nicodème Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Millard King, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, Pavilion AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Hodges to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes, Antigonish AFC's Stacy Middleton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeramy Witt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Antigonish AFC reached it. 97 minutes into the game, Antigonish AFC's Asa Meunier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeramy Witt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
