Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Nicodème Webster was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Shon Crosby. A collision led to Nominingue getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Anton Farrell hit a great ball. Burt Dye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ted Sloan hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Stacy Middleton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renato Hamlin skillfully saved the ball. Burt Dye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stacy Middleton, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Burt Dye who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nominingue's Renato Hamlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Burl Covillon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The Antigonish AFC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Antigonish AFC's Burt Dye looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 33 minutes into the match, Antigonish AFC's goalkeeper Nicodème Webster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quentin Belanger. After having played for 39 minutes, Alden Foreman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nominingue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alden Foreman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Antigonish AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jeffery Desaulniers hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Nicodème Webster successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st play minute Alden Foreman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicodème Webster. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alden Foreman made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Nominingue's zone, Burt Dye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Hamlin came out of the goal and Burt Dye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Quentin Belanger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nominingue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Belanger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nominingue's Renato Hamlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burt Dye in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Nominingue getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Anton Farrell hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Burt Dye in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renato Hamlin saved Nominingue from getting behind. The supporters of Antigonish AFC booed when Nominingue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Sloan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Whaley kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nominingue's Anton Farrell got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Stacy Middleton missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 75 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Renato Hamlin right hand side. The supporters of Nominingue booed when Antigonish AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffery Desaulniers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Antigonish AFC's Burt Dye ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Renato Hamlin. Renato Hamlin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Antigonish AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
