Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jayson Maher started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Ronnie Roman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lloydminster FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birsay the free kick. Ronnie Roman hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Adalberto Clayton kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lloydminster FC's zone, Carmen Lebel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance Duplessis came out of the goal and Carmen Lebel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Lance Duplessis managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Birsay's Lionel Farley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carmen Lebel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lance Duplessis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Lionel Farley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lance Duplessis. Lloydminster FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lionel Farley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 21 played minutes Lloydminster FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Witherspoon. After some careless play in the Lloydminster FC defense, Lionel Farley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lance Duplessis. The Lloydminster FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lance Duplessis should have stopped the shot. Martin Boykin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Birsay fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Birsay's Carmen Lebel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carmen Lebel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lance Duplessis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lance Duplessis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lionel Farley in the 38th minute. Lloydminster FC's Jayson Maher got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmen Lebel to make the kick off. Lloydminster FC's Lance Duplessis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmen Lebel in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Brock Mallory hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Farley in the 62nd minute of play forced Lloydminster FC's goalkeeper Lance Duplessis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Witherspoon kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Lance Duplessis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmen Lebel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Birsay's goalkeeper Baptiste Grace had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neal Benjamin. Lionel Farley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lionel Farley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lionel Farley came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Birsay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lionel Farley couldn't finish the play. Lionel Farley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lance Duplessis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lance Duplessis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmen Lebel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jayson Maher in the 95th minute of play forced Birsay's goalkeeper Baptiste Grace to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
