Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilson Hughes started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Dannie Hampton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel McManus in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theron Dickens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucerne's Willie Roberson got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willie Roberson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seebe AFC's Alfred Looney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Seebe AFC from getting a goal against them. Alfred Looney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Hughes in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Seebe AFC's Dewitt Curtis got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alfred Looney was a little too slow when Willie Roberson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 29th minute Seebe AFC were awarded a corner. Antoine Lyle went to the cornerflag to take it. Willie Roberson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Wilson Hughes came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Lucerne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Hughes couldn't finish the play. Lucerne's Courtney Gosselin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfred Looney but with some difficulty. Theron Dickens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dannie Hampton in the 38th minute of the match. Danial AyotHayot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Looney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Hughes, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Willie Roberson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Dannie Hampton made the kick off in the second half. Wilson Hughes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Looney having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Lucerne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Courtney Gosselin to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Seebe AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Willie Roberson came free, but Alfred Looney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willie Roberson in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Looney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Korey Hurley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theron Dickens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dannie Hampton, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Willie Roberson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Lucerne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willie Roberson couldn't finish the play. Courtney Gosselin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Dannie Hampton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Theron Dickens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lucerne had played much better football throughout.
