Delbert Gorman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 25th minute, Porter Pelchat made a precise shot to the right of Lance Duplessis. Lloydminster FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Porter Pelchat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Duplessis having to interfere. Lloydminster FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jayson Maher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jayson Maher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jayson Maher was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Ituna FC got a freekick which was hit by Reed Brower. If Jayson Maher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ituna FC's Fausto Medeiros got a free kick in the 57th minute. Lloydminster FC's Neal Benjamin got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Salter in the 60th minute of play forced Lloydminster FC's goalkeeper Lance Duplessis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jayson Maher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neal Benjamin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neal Benjamin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Jayson Maher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lance Duplessis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Salter in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Porter Pelchat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Duplessis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ituna FC's Porter Pelchat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lance Duplessis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Frank Mayberry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lloydminster FC and the Ituna FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lloydminster FC's Frank Mayberry got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jayson Maher was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Lloydminster FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Russell Sprague charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Russell Sprague the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Delbert Gorman made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Neal Benjamin sent off a good shot on target.
