The referee gave Rathburn AFC a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabian Caron, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Seebe AFC's Alfred Looney. 1-0. Israel McManus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Edmund Desnoyers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seebe AFC's Dannie Hampton got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seebe AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Jeramy Grubbs scored to the left of an out of position Alfred Looney, making the score, 2-0. Jeramy Grubbs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Looney having to interfere. Alfred Looney was a little too slow when Jeramy Grubbs got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-0. When Seebe AFC's Dannie Hampton in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rathburn AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Dannie Hampton sped through Rathburn AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edmund Desnoyers. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dannie Hampton to strike the kick off in the second half. Israel McManus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Desnoyers having to interfere. When Jeramy Grubbs came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Rathburn AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeramy Grubbs couldn't finish the play. Edmund Desnoyers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dannie Hampton in the 71st minute of play. Rathburn AFC's Edmund Desnoyers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Rathburn AFC from getting a goal against them. Alfred Looney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeramy Grubbs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel McManus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dannie Hampton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeramy Grubbs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Seebe AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rathburn AFC.
