When Léonard Gallo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kill-Animals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léonard Gallo couldn't finish the play. After 25 played minutes Barrhead FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Berger. In the 30th match minute, Barrhead FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toney Park to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Kill-Animals's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Larsen came free, but Gaspard Wright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathis Stiles charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathis Stiles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Barrhead FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathis Stiles. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Claude Larsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Léonard Gallo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernand Pinette. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 63rd minute Guadalupe Childress shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspard Wright saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guadalupe Childress sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claude Larsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gaspard Wright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspard Wright showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Larsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Léonard Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernand Pinette having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guadalupe Childress in the 84th minute of play forced Kill-Animals's goalkeeper Gaspard Wright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kill-Animals eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
