Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lothaire Pepper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryce Boston read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. If Lothaire Pepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kris McCormick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnold Doran in the 11th minute. When Troy's Dewayne Bowles in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinchi's goalie prevented a goal. Kris McCormick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothée Barry, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dewayne Bowles was the one to do the kick off. Arnold Doran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kris McCormick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pinchi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Troy's performance. The match ended with a win for Troy.
