Lamar Boggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspard Wright having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Kill-Animals's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Mayberry came free, but Gaspard Wright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspard Wright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamar Boggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Léonard Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspard Wright stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Howard Mayberry's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Palmer Brooks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léonard Gallo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Léonard Gallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Palmer Brooks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Howard Mayberry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Léonard Gallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lamar Boggs during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léonard Gallo was the one to do the kick off. Lamar Boggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kill-Animals getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Phil Gibson hit a great ball. Lamar Boggs succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 55th playminute. 63 minutes into the game, Léonard Gallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Palmer Brooks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Howard Mayberry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspard Wright read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Yong Autier kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Léonard Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Palmer Brooks was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Warren Pruett struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Palmer Brooks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kill-Animals. Léonard Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Gates hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kill-Animals booed when Newark AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Howard Mayberry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspard Wright made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Lamar Boggs sent off a good shot on target. Howard Mayberry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspard Wright having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Kill-Animals players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
